Senate Appropriations Chairman Pat Browne, and Representative Gary Day will hold their annual Senior Information Fair at Country Meadows of Allentown in Building 4 on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cetronia Ambulance Corp. will again be a partner for the event.

This FREE event will spotlight the variety of programs and services offered to seniors by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and numerous local organizations. The Fair, which is open to the public, will include light refreshments, door prizes and health screenings. A limited number of free flu shots will be provided by Lehigh Valley Health Network.  The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs’ Mobile Veterans Outreach Van will be on hand to answer questions.

“This annual information fair is an excellent opportunity for seniors and their families to obtain a better understanding of the various resources available to them through state and local governments and community organizations,” Senator Browne said. “I thank Country Meadows, Cetronia Ambulance Corps, and all of the organizations and government agencies that will make this year’s Fair a success.”

“This event highlights the variety of programs, services and opportunities available to older residents in our area,” Day said.  “We want to empower older residents to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives by taking advantage of the resources available to them.  We expect attendees to have fun at the event and walk away with some valuable information.”
