AG, Senators to Offer Update on Safe2Say Implementation

Attorney General Josh Shapiro and Senators Pat Browne (R-Lehigh) and Vincent Hughes (D-Philadelphia) will provide an update on the implementation of Pennsylvania’s Safet2Say program on Monday, October 1.

The briefing is set for 11 a.m. at Sarah Lindemuth/Anna Carter School, 1201 N. Progress Avenue, Harrisburg (Susquehanna Township).

Senators Browne and Hughes were the co-prime sponsors of Senate Bill 1142 (Act 44 of 2018), which created Pennsylvania’s Safe2Say program. The Safe2Say Program will provide for the anonymous reporting of unsafe, potentially harmful, dangerous, violent or criminal activities in schools or the threat of the activities.
