Senator Pat Browne (R-16th District) will hold his annual Community and Family Expo on Thursday, August 6th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bucky Boyle Park, North Front and Gordon Streets in Allentown.
The Event is Free and Open to the Public and is held Rain or Shine.
This will be the 10th year Senator Browne has held this event, which is designed to provide valuable information to parents, grandparents and children about the myriad of programs, information and other services available to them from government and community groups.
“This event has drawn large crowds in the past and we are expecting high attendance again this year,” Senator Browne said. “There are many helpful programs sponsored both by government agencies and private businesses that parents may not be aware of. It is my hope, through this expo, that families will have a better understanding of some of the excellent programs and resources that are available to them.”
Thanks to Lehigh Valley Cops ‘n’ Kids, all children will receive a free book while supplies last.
Scheduled exhibitors include: Capital BlueCross-CHIP Program, Lehigh Valley Cops ‘N’ Kids, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown Health Bureau, and much more.
