Event will be held at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom

Senate Majority Whip Pat Browne, in conjunction with Representative Ryan Mackenzie, will hold a Family Night at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Family Night event, which will be fun for the entire family, will be held rain or shine. Parking, admission, and food will all be free to the public. All of the Planet Snoopy rides and Dorney Park’s iconic carousel will be open.

“This event allows parents, grandparents and friends to see what state, local and community programs are available to assist them and their children. These organizations will be sharing information about their important initiatives,” Senator Browne said. “I thank Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom for allowing us to hold this great event at one of the most popular amusement parks in the world.”

Scheduled entertainment includes: DaVinci Science Center, the William Allen Chorale, Puerto Rican Culture Preservation Inc., and the Air Force Auxiliary Air Patrol 801st Squadron. Food has graciously been provided by Red Robin Gourmet Burgers- yum!  Exhibitors at The Family Night will include: Capitol BlueCross C.H.I.P Program, Wildlands Conservancy, Lehigh Valley ZOO, and Lehigh Valley Health Network. Children will also receive free books courtesy of Lehigh Valley Cops ‘n’ Kids Children’s Literacy Program.

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom is located at 3830 Dorney Park Road, Allentown, PA 18104 right off Hamilton Boulevard in South Whitehall Township.

Please Note: Only the Hamilton Blvd. entrance will be open.
