Senator Browne Hosts Annual Family and Community Expo

Senator Pat Browne (R-16th District) will hold his annual Community and Family Expo on Thursday, August 3rd from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bucky Boyle Park, North Front and Gordon Streets in Allentown.

The Event is Free, Open to the Public and held Rain or Shine.

This will be the 12th year Senator Browne has held this event, which is designed to provide valuable information to parents, grandparents and children about the myriad of programs, information and other services available to them from government and community groups.

“This community expo is an excellent opportunity for families to receive information, in a relaxed and fun setting, on the numerous programs and services available in our region,” Senator Browne said. “As in past years, we expect another great turnout and we hope families will leave the event with a better understanding of what is available to assist them. Each year, we receive tremendous participation and support from various government agencies and private businesses that make sure parents and grandparents are aware of all the wide-ranging resources that are offered to them.”

Thanks to Lehigh Valley Cops ‘n’ Kids, all children will receive a free book while supplies last. Wells Fargo is providing a limited number of free backpacks filled with school supplies for children who complete the educational passport. Refreshments will also be available.
