Northampton County Recycling Grants Awarded

Allen Twp. receives $441,000, Hanover Twp. gets $214,835

Two Northampton County municipalities were recently awarded recycling grants from the state Department of Environmental Protection, according to Senator Pat Browne (R-16th District, parts of Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe Counties).

Hanover Township received a $214,835 Recycling Development and Implementation Grant to augment a curbside collection program in the township.

Allen Township received a $441,000 Recycling Development and Implementation Grant to establish a multi-municipal yard waste composting facility in the township.
