Senator Browne to Discuss "Anti-Idling" Legislation

Parked trucks would be limited to five minutes per hour

Senator Pat Browne will host a press conference at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29 at the park at Midway Manor (off Pennsylvania Street in Allentown) to discuss his legislation addressing the noise and noxious exhaust fumes from idling tractor trailers.

Senator Browne will be joined by state Rep. Steve Samuelson, a representative from Mayor Ed Pawlowski's office and local residents who urged him to craft the legislation based on problems they are experiencing in their neighborhood.

Traveling East on Union Boulevard, make a left on Sherman Street and then a right on Pennsylvania Street. Midway Manor Park is two blocks on the right.
