Weisenberg Twp. building
Hoffman Manufacturing will receive a $521,590
state loan to set up shop in Weisenberg Township,
Lehigh County, according to state Senator Pat
Browne.
Senator Browne was notified by the Department of
Community and Economic Development that the company
will receive the PIDA loan to buy a 40,925 square
foot building on Kecks Road.
The company plans to move its 30 employees into
the new facility, where it will expand its sheet
metal manufacturing operation.
"This is a great investment in our community,"
Senator Browne said. "PIDA enables the state to
solidify those types of commitments by investing in
companies like Hoffman Manufacturing that provide
jobs and help sustain our community."
PIDA provides low-interest loans for land and
building acquisition and construction or renovation.
It targets manufacturers, industrial developers,
research and development firms, agricultural
processors and employers establishing national or
regional headquarters.
