Senator Browne Presents Check to Greater LV Chamber of Commerce for Roving Borough Manager ProgramState Senator Pat Browne, R-16th District, presented a check for $20,000 to the Greater Leigh Valley Chamber of Commerce's President Tony Iannelli this past Tuesday evening at the Bethlehem Council's annual dinner. The check will be used to provide working capital for the Chamber's Roving Borough Manager Program, which is designed for smaller communities that cannot afford to have a main street manager. The program consists of two bureau managers, who are each responsible for five communities in the Lehigh Valley. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense Paul McHale – former-state Representative (133rd District) and Congressman (15th District) in the Lehigh Valley – gave the keynote address at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem in front of an audience of 200 people. Senator Browne represents parts of Lehigh, Monroe and Northampton Counties.
